The crisis that has been going on around the country has given a clear reflection of the state of the human hearts. Thousands marched the streets, fought with the authorities, painted walls, flooded the social media with words filled with frustration and anger chanting the suddenly popular chorus FEES MUST FALL. Deeper within every heart is a personal drive, either absolute FEAR of being unable to pursue studies, anger towards the management and distribution of resources in the nation or a solidarity issue with those directly affected. A few just enjoyed being part of the chanting without a real personal attachment to the whole situation.
I see a terrible humanistic society that has ceased to look to the Word of God and the Spirit of God for solutions to the present human struggles. This present system (a fallen system) which has kept God out of the program is not dependable. To be explicit; it is an evil system built upon greed, envy and corruption. Disadvantaged members of the society are being manipulated by evil and selfish men who do not sleep until they shed blood. Survival is only for the fittest but are they really the fittest. No, the way of man is not in himself , it is not in man, even the strongest man to direct His own steps. Pride is the order of the day , man working to become the most brilliant, most successful , most powerful at the expense of others. Sacrifice and service is not the hallmark of this system. Self dependence runs the streets and the suburbs of our day. External matters are the headlines; race , where you live, what you dress and all these things that are passing away. The foundations of this system are not rooted in the love of God. Building life on this unstable system is the greatest error any man can ever do. My friend: There is no other foundation on which a man can build but that which is already set ; Christ Jesus.
Jesus did not leave us helpless and uninformed concerning these matters. If you really believe that Jesus is the Christ who lived on the earth, died in our place, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven and is today seated at the right hand of God; then this message is for you. If you haven't made up your mind about Jesus as Lord, this will also give you light. This present FEES MUST FALL is not simply a situation but its a reflection of what many believe about life and the lenses they look through. It shows crystal clear great frustration, desperation and fear arising from the foundation that people have decided to build their life on. Look with me at the words of Jesus;
I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. John 17:15-17
In my opening remarks, I focused on this corrupted system in this world. The master prayed that we can be kept safe and excluded from the effects produced by this evil world. Jesus is saying that it is possible to live in the world that is filled with pain and frustration but covered by the power of God. God is not doing this for the first time, He has always been like that for a people that belong to Him. Exodus 10 gives a clear typology of how the prayer of Jesus will be answered. There was darkness all over the land but in the place where the people of God lived, there was light as usual.
The Egyptians could not see one another, nor did anyone leave his place for three days, but all the Israelites had [supernatural] light in their dwellings. Exodus 10:23
The church of Christ is a supernatural church, it was born by the supernatural when Christ Himself rose in power from the dead. We are different!!
How does God do it for you?
Returning to that prayer in John 17:17 , the master says for God to sanctify us by His word because His word is Truth. That word sanctify means to consecrate, separate or make different and God will do that in one way : By His word. Truth is not affected by circumstance, truth surpasses facts, trends , discoveries and beliefs, truth is indestructible, truth lives forever, truth is superior. God's word is Truth and as you keep holding to those promises, live by them and be blind to the facts around this present system, you will win in life. God will cause you to be a wonder in this world as you walk with the heavenly atmosphere around you.
When you make the government your source, you are headed towards running in the streets with placards because they will disappoint you, losing your dignity begging a society that is created to fail. When you make God your source, when fees go up, even though its injustice, for you, it does not move any nerve : Jehovah El Shadaai (the breasted one) will still take care of business. That is how Jesus lived in this system, never afraid of lack , sickness, pain or natural disasters, always superior to circumstances. Let me quit with this scripture that explains how to escape the evil and corrupt system and not be affected by it.

3 For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. 4 For by these He has bestowed on us His precious and magnificent promises [of inexpressible value], so that by them you may escape the corruption that is in the world because of lust and greed, and become sharers of the divine nature. 2 Peter 1:1-4
This is the scripture the Lord used to give me a different view on life. Choose the winning life in Christ.
